Fashion and Music

Ever since watching the epitomous Fashion Rocks 2003 on the tele, it has reinforced me to believe that music plays a huge role in making a fashion show enjoyable. There are many great musical discoveries I’ve made since watching a number of fashion shows and Sex and the City.

Among the shows I’ve seen during the Montreal Fashion & Design festivals, artists include Stefie Shock with his sexy toned “Salut Chantal” and DJ Killa Jewel, a rare female DJ who’s also part of DJ band Microtone Kitchen. From Sex and The City, I’ve fallen for Canadian flamenco player Jesse Cook (whose song “Tempest” was featured in “Ex and the City”) to Kristy MacColl’s cheeky “In These Shoes.
