I have to apologize for not being able to cover MFW properly, I came down with a terrible cold after Day 1 and have been trying to recuperate ever since.
The major highlights of the week were Caroline Neron’s jewelry extravaganza, with her crystal studded pasties finale (not a la Lohan for Ungaro) which really drove to entertain and impress the crowd.
If you’ve been following Twitter, Eve Gravel and Soia & Kyo were the more sought after shows for Day 2.
Day 3 ended with two great designers, Helmer and Denis Gagnon. The latter whom blew everyone away with his zipper intensive collection. Fashion Magazine posted a closer look at Denis Gagnon’s DIY Aldo shoes (though unfortunately not for sale), and also has a running shoe designing contest for their F/W 2010 collection.
Also those who have had attended MFW got a sneak preview of the upcoming Canadian release of The September Issue at Cinematheque Quebecoise. The movie will be set to release throughout Canada on Oct 23rd.
