Last Montreal Sidewalk Sale For The Summer
If you haven’t been on St-Laurent already, the final sidewalk sale of the summer started yesterday and will end this Sunday on Aug 30th. If you have time to go Friday, then do so, because this weekend is announcing more rain and cool weather.
Fall is announcing itself early. So take advantage of the sunshine for this occasion!
The sidewalk sale stretches on St-Laurent from Sherbrooke to Mont-Royal streets.

The September Issue Premieres In NYC
For those of you who can’t simply wait to see the theatrical release for NYC, you can finally hop onto the next New York bus and see it’s release to the mass public today. It premieres in the Big Apple a full two weeks before it’s nationwide release.
Canadians will have to wait a month longer until October, which as any fashionista knows that that is WAY too long of a wait to see it.
“The September Issue” has been the talk of the town of fashion’s latest movie theatrical release. Even going as far as having Ms. Wintour herself on Letterman.
Ever since “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Sex and The City: The Movie” came out a couple of years ago, it seems “en vogue” to produce fashion movies. The next upcoming fashion film is “Coco Avant Chanel” featuring Audrey Tautou set to be in limited released on September 25th in the US. No word of it coming to Canada, it will probably also be in limited release and you’d probably end up at Cinema du Parc.

New Designer Love - Joseph Altuzarra
Donna Karan-esque with the ruching, and very architectural. I love.
Joseph Altuzarra is only 25 and has already interned with top end designers like Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Givenchy. He only started releasing his collections this year and has been covered in a plethora of fashion magazines since last year. I will be watching him closely!
